Shameless self-promotion

I have another piece in Bitch this week, this time on portrayals of STEM women in “The Big Bang Theory.” This show seems to really polarize people, but I really enjoy it. The STEM women I’ve had the privilege to meet seem to deal with many of the same issues as the characters on the show, including being taken less seriously if they act too feminine or being nagged by family and friends to marry because that is more important than their careers.
